4. คำอธิบายรายวิชา(Course Description)

การจัดการกับยาและจลนศาสตร์ในร่างกาย โครงสร้างตัวรับและการส่งสัญญาณภายในเซลล์ กลไกการออกฤทธิ์ระดับโมเลกุลของยาต่อภาวะความดันเลือดสูงและภาวะหัวใจล้มเหลว ประสาทเภสัชวิทยาระดับโมเลกุลของโรคจิตและการออกฤทธิ์ของยา สารส่งสัญญาณระดับเซลล์และกลไกควบคุมการอักเสบอาการปวด และการปรับผลสนองของระบบภูมิค้มกัน กลไกการออกฤทธิ์ของยาต้านจุลชีพ และการออกฤทธิ์จำแนกต่อเชื้อแบคทีเรีย กลไกการดื้อยาและบทบาทของพีไกลโคโปรตีน การพัฒนายาใหม่โดยมีฐานจากเป้าหมายใหม่ๆระดับโมเลกุล

Drug disposition and pharmacokinetics. Receptor structure and intracellular signaling. Molecular mechanism of action of drugs in hypertensive and congestive heart states. Molecular neuropharmacology of psychiatric disorders and frug action. Cellular signaling moleculea and mechanisms in control of inflammation and pain and modulation of immune responses. Medhnisms of antimicrobial agenta and differential action on bacteria. Mechanism of drug resis tance and role of P-glycoprotein. Development of new drug based onnovel molecular targets.
