     Abstract This article explores how informal home-based garment worker livelihood network dominated the newly created space in peri-urban fringe areas of the Lao PDR. It also examines on core conceptual issues of livelihood networks. The study utilized a qualitative as an in-depth interview of 15 workers were employed in home-based garment. Drawing on content analysis revealed was done using the ATLAS.ti program. The empirical evidence shows that area-based are simultaneously offering greater continued despite growing rapidly and economically. A key feature of the geography is connected to the double movement at all household levels. Our findings indicate that workers continued their employment proactively involved of livelihood activities. Thus, prospering client–provider progressive network enhance activity can lead a meaningful livelihood outcome. Furthermore, it was therefore considered to liquid single network motivates in diversification. Some suggestion the diversity of network can contribute to informal employment livelihoods in peri-urban fringe areas. The policy exists have implicated in improving the home-based garment worker livelihoods in the Lao PDR.
