Abstracts
This qualitative research has a purpose. To study the quality of life And the effects of the migration of migrant households from the hydroelectric dams in Lao PDR. How to collect data by in-depth interviews with the heads of households migrating from dams. electricity In the area of the village. And 12 villages were allocated to Sop phon and Phon Thong Vinllages KhamKeud deistic Borikhamxai province, using interviewing methods with participatory and non-participatory observation. By analyzing contextual data, descriptive analysis based on conceptual framework developed from theory.
The results show that 1) migrant households have a better quality of life, with the knowledge, skills and experience gained together with the knowledge gained from the Nam Theun Dam Project. Career In addition, there is a better standard of living. 2) The impact of hydroelectric dams on migration makes it positively stable.
