Abstract Purpose: The colorectal cancer (CRC) is the five most common cancers in the developed countries in worldwide. Previous studies were revealed physical activity and sedentary pattern would be affected with many cancers, especially CRC. The aim of this study was to determine the association between physical activity, sedentary pattern for positive FIT cases of colorectal cancer. Methods: Our design was a cross-sectional study from received FIT group in a population-based randomized controlled trial for CRC screening in Nam Phong, Khon Kaen, Thailand. A total of 1,060 participants were used to analyze by multiple logistic regression. Result: Physical activity and sedentary pattern were not statistically significant for positive FIT cases for CRC screening (physical activity: adjOR= 0.80; 95%CI= 0.48-2.33; sedentary pattern: adjOR= 1.03; 95%CI= 0.32-1.98) in our study. Conclusion: Even if physical activity and sedentary pattern found not association, and our finding could be observed the clue for their associations. Therefore, next study should be concerned regarding sample size and statistical methods for fitting the data.
