บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบต่อผู้หญิงที่สามีย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศซึ่งเป็นผู้อยู่ข้างหลังของแรงงานที่ย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ในพื้นที่ ตำบลค้อใต้ อำเภอสว่างแดนดิน จังหวัดสกลนคร ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีการย้ายถิ่นของแรงงานไปต่างประเทศมากที่สุดในจังหวัดสกลนคร เก็บข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 10 ราย ที่มีสามีย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศมากกว่า 1 ปี ทั้งที่อยู่แบบครอบครัวเดี่ยว และครอบครัวขยาย ซึ่งได้รับผลกระทบจากการย้ายถิ่นของแรงงาน ในด้านเศรษฐกิจ และด้านสังคมของครัวเรือน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลระหว่างเดือนสิงหาคม-กันยายน 2561 และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยโดยพรรณนาเชิงวิเคราะห์ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผลกระทบต่อผู้หญิงที่สามีย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศในด้านเศรษฐกิจ การไปทำงานต่างประเทศของสามีส่งผลให้ครัวเรือนมีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้น และสามารถนำเงินที่ได้จากการส่งกลับมาของสามีที่ไปทำงานต่างประเทศมาใช้เพื่อส่งเสริมอาชีพในครัวเรือน บางรายสามารถนำเงินที่ได้จากการส่งกลับมาของสามีเป็นฐานในการเข้าสู่ตำแหน่งทางการเมือง แต่ในขณะเดียวกันการไปทำงานต่างประเทศของสามียังส่งผลให้ครัวเรือนมีภาระหนี้สินจากการส่งสามีไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ส่วนผลกระทบด้านสังคม การไปทำงานต่างประเทศของสามีไม่ได้ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัวลดลง เพราะมีการติดต่อกันระหว่างสมาชิกในครอบครัวเป็นประจำ แต่ในบางครอบครัวที่มีสามีไม่ติดต่อกลับมาเป็นระยะเวลานานนั้นจะทำให้เกิดความหวาดระแวงว่าสามีที่ไปทำงานต่างประเทศจะนอกใจ ส่วนการติดต่อกับชุมชนนั้นครัวเรือนของแรงงานที่ย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศมีการติดต่อ และทำกิจกรรมกับชุมชนเพิ่มมากขึ้น

Abstract
This article aims to investigate effects of international migration towards women in the migrant households. The article applied qualitative research methodology to research design. The study conducted in communities in Tumbon Kho Tai Sawang Dandin district, where was a district with the highest number of international migrant in Sakon Nakhon province. In-depth interview was used to collect data from key informants included 10 women of international migrant households that their husbands have worked overseas more than 1 years, both nuclear household and extended household. Content analysis method was implemented in data analysis. Data collection was conducted between August and September 2018. Research results found that effects on women in international migrant households were identified into two dimensions included economic dimension and social dimension. In term of economic, husband’s working abroad resulted in an increasing of household income. The remittances earned from oversea working were used to create occupations of their households at origin areas. On the other hand, household debts were presented due to migration expenses that the households invested in husband’s migration. Regarding social dimension, working overseas did not reduce relationships within households because they had a regular contact between household members. However, some households, where the husbands have not contacted them for a long time, might face with suspicion that the husband might be unfaithful. In addition, international migrant households had good relationships with neighbors, and they had more chances to participate in community activities.
