This course will emphasize listening and speaking strategies and skills needed for success in academic English courses. Students will expand upon their note-taking strategies and skills. This course will also emphasize the many different speaking situations typical of the American university experience (e.g. small group, panel, class discussions, class presentations). Students will be expected to make at least one academic oral presentation to the entire class.
