This course will combine academic language and content learning simulating an American university classroom. The emphasis of the content will be on major approaches an methodologies of second language learning including theories on second language learning: common practices in second language teaching, and popular ideas about language learning. Students will be evaluated on their abilities to write clear academic essay and give effective oral presentations.
