| บทคัดย่อ |
In this research paper, a location tracking, monitoring and control system for small organizations is presented. These small organizations essentially require efficient resource management as well as reduction in their GSM network service cost. The presented system can be useful especially in the case where personal tracking - only when needed or when there is error - is required, without having to track for location real time.
Other than the ability to track on-line and control real time like any other systems, the developed system can also work semi-offline. The data is transferred via GSM Network by using SMS. This increases the system capability by efficiently managing tracking devices which could increase in number as time goes by. Therefore, an application software was developed along with the database to manage and control the tracking devices on Google Map and transfer data through SMS. The application is used to connect a tracking device with a mobile phone by converting a location coordination received from the tracking device into its address which will be sent to the mobile phone, in the case where the phone does not support Google Map. If it does, the user can view the location by opening URL which is very convenient and can reduce mobile internet and web server costs.
