| บทคัดย่อ |
This study was conducted to investigate relationships between soil physical and chemical properties and three halophyte species {Maytenus diversifolia (Maxim.) Ding Hou., Azima sarmentosa B&H. and Pluchia indica L.) in dry season of the year 2011. Two locations, Chaiyaphum and Khon Kaen provinces, were used as the experimental site. Soil samples were collected at 0-15 cm depth around root zone of the plants and were analyzed for soil texture, moisture content, saturated hydraulic conductivity, bulk density, pH and electrical conductivity (EC). They were found that Maytenus diversifolia was able to grow on soils with the very high and wider range of EC (26.37 dS m-1-117.63 dS m-1) and low soil moisture content (5.17%). On the other hand Pluchia indica was found only in the area with high soil moisture content (17.31%) and low EC (40.2 dS m-1-82.87 dS m-1). |
