     Abstract This research is to study the solar parabolic collector. Some studies on solar collector had shown that the maximum efficiency is about 25.2% for the non - rotation track of the sun and 39.6% for rotation track of the sun. This research was aimed to design and build a solar tracking system to control the movement of the sun with automatic rotation. We designed to have a regular collector of 2 m2 with solar reflector and receiver. The receiver consists of 48 mm diameter tube and rotating the collector in the east - west direction. In consideration of tilt angle affected the performance of the solar collector, the results showed that when the solar collector tilt angle was set at 0, 13, 16 and 19 degrees above the horizontal line, at the flow rate of 30 L/h, the solar collector of tilt 16 degrees with the horizontal line in the experimental location has the maximum efficiency of the solar collector at 43.8%, the average efficiency for day is 34.7%, the average efficiency for day is more than the solar collector at tilt angle of 0, 13 and 19 degrees to the horizontal about 2%. The maximum efficiency of 16 degrees tilt angle to the horizontal line compared to the case where the solar collector was the non - rotation and rotation track of the sun found that the efficiency are higher at the tilt angle of 16 degrees to the horizontal about 18.6 and 4.2%, respectively.
