| บทคัดย่อ |
A new supramolecular metal-coordination compound [Co(4-picH)2(H2O)4]•(SO4)2•(H2O)3 (1) (4-picH = 4-picolylamine1+) was synthesized by layered diffusion and structurally characterized. Compound (1) contains mononuclear Co cation unit, two sulfate ions and three lattice water molecules. The Co2+ ion shows elongated octahedral geometry comprised of four oxygen atoms from water molecules at equatorial positions and two nitrogen atoms from 4-picH ligands which are protonated at NH2, leading to a mononuclear cation unit [Co(4-picoH)2(H2O)4]4+. Each mononuclear cation units are assembled by intermolecular hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking via 4-picH moieties to build 2D sheets. These layers are linked by intermolecular hydrogen bonding via 4-picoH ligand, two sulfate anions, lattice and coordinated water molecules to stabilize 3D supramolecular structure. Interestingly, this compound exhibits water induced reversible crystalline-to-amorphous phase transformation with chromotropism confirmed by spectroscopic techniques, elemental analyses, TGA and XRPD. |
