Abstract The society maintains its existence via a cycle of change that accelerated by Technology. To that effect, the social structure needs to be adjusted and dominates the people to adapt themselves to such a prevailing current of social change, thereby causing resistance to social change. This article aims to search an innovation to manage social change in such a creative manner so as to palliate social resistance by employing the phenomenon of social transformation into an aged society in Thailand with the target being the Next Generation of Elderly. This study employs a qualitative research by using Ethnographic Delphi Future Research to conduct the interviews of 20 selected experts qualified on the elderly issues. In so doing, issues as speculated by the experts for the inability to adjust on time by the social structure and the inability to adapt themselves on time by the Next Generation of Elderly with the social change, are to be used as evidence empirical. It is found out from the research that the resistance to social change exists at 2 levels, i.e. (a) at the collective level, it occurs as a result of rigid social structure with Unacknowledgement conditions resulting in a social friction consisting of obsolete policy and institutional agency not being able to realize policy; (b) at the individual level, it is deprivation of capability resulting in a social inertia consisting of physical and mental deprivation. The article has a conclusion of an analytical framework for resistance to social change and recommendation as a guideline for resistance management with the approaches of Node of Interaction and good usage of ICT.
