| Abstract |
The objective of the study was to determine factors affecting to residential solid waste (RSW) collection and processing of in Yenninh subdistrict, Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. The simple random sample was selected and the sampling was collected by the formula of Taro Yamane with e = 10%. Based on survey data of 160 households in Yenninh, and secondary data collection then using exploratory factor analysis (EFA); the study indicated 20 factors including fee scale, collectors scale, waste collection scale and waste processing scale and the analyze results shows that there are 16 factors affecting collection and processing RSW: (1) payment place, (2) time of fee collecting, (3) payment way, (4) frequency of fee collecting, (5) quantity of collectors, (6) enthusiasm and responsibility of collectors, (7) capacity of collectors, (8) protective clothing, (9) garbage collecting tools, (10) frequency of waste collection, (11) waste collection time, (12) cleanness after waste collection, (13) modernization of transport delivery, (14) rapidity and cleanness of transport delivery, (15) time of delivery, (16) distance to treated area. |
