| Abstract |
Model of strengthen active aging among elderly in Northeast

Since 2005, Thailand approached to aging society and elderly population has continuely increment. The factors of strengthen active aging promote the self-sufficient elder into the quality of life including 3 pillars : 1) Health care system and Healthy, 2) Participated activities with family, community and society, and 3) Security in life cover physical and financial. The objective of research which are 1) To study the process of building social network among elder with active aging in Northeast, 2) To study the affecting factors to active aging elder in Northeast, 3) To develop Structural Equation Model (SEM) to supporting the strengthen active aging elder in Northeast, and 4) To study model of strengthen active aging among elder in Northeast. There are 3 steps of studying active aging. First, studying the process of building social network in elder by 20 elders from the project of elder wisdom. Next, studying factors of influencing active aging elder in Northeast. In case there are a lot of elder but, a number of children under 15 year-old are over the elder entire Northeast being for improving The Structural Equation Model (SEM). And, the last one taking the analysis of influencing active aging elder factors and Structural Equation Model to describe in term of promoting the strengthen active aging elderly model by interview with experts whom are involved in policy for the elderly. Also, discussing group of elderly representative in order to brainstorm new concepts being improvement in the future.
