     Abstract SOCIAL NETWORKS OF ACTIVE AGEING ELDERLY IN NORTHEST, THAILAND. Mrs.Panarat satsanasupint* Dr.Tanapuage Chamaratana** The objective of this study to study social networks of active ageing elderly in Northeast, Thailand. The data collected by 20 elderly who is local wisdom and selected by the first of a list of people who attended the event as often as possible in Kalasin Province, Thailand. Then collected the important information by snowball technique. Data were collected using in-depth interviews by Semi-Structured Interview technique (SSI) with interview guideline as a tool to collect data and the engaged participant observation and non-participant observation. Data analyzed by content analysis by ATLAS.ti and present data using descriptive analysis as described by the table diagram to explain the facts and figures. We found that active ageing of local wisdom, Health; the most healthy. Security; everyone owner of home and permanent and living more than 10 years, most of the revenue from work and enough for living, but no savings. The participation; the most they can join activities with community, someone is majority leader in the activities of the community and a respectable member of the community. Most of group was born from a group with similar interests. A small group and have purpose of the required knowledge with the help of community members and they have treaty. Relationship structure networks member are equal. The relationships is learning process. The activities in networks is very encourageing. The achievement of the networks they wish to expand their knowledge networks that contribute to learning, exchange productivities, they can solve the problem and better self-reliance.
