| บทคัดย่อ |
Family institution is not only a institutional capital in economic but also the basic social institution that is the most important for human. In 2016, the registration of divorce is higher than the past decade to 33.76%. Thus, the purpose of this research is to study the factors that affected divorcement of the spouse and to find an approach to the development of the communication process in the family to decrease the rate of divorcement in the aspect of behavioral economics with analysis of primary survey from 200 divorced families in Thailand. Quantitative Research was used in the study. The instrument applied in data collection was the copies of questionnaire and personality test "DISC" (Marston, 1928) analyzed by multiple regression. Dependent variable is the time period of marriage; the longer time period of getting along and keeping relationship presents the better married life quality. Independent variable is the human capital including age at first marriage, education level, income, occupation, personality of divorced spouse. The study noted that the factor of education had had a positive effect on marital longevity. Couples, entering into their first marriages later in life, had shown that they had had a shorter married life than younger couples. In addition, the couples, having some differences or similarities in personality, had extended married life rather than having too many differences or having completely different personalities. This indicated that perfect couples should have some aspects of personality in the same direction for compatibility, but they also some need some opposite characteristics to fill in the missing parts of married life, and thereby enhancing the longevity of the marriage. |
