Abstract City personality means a set of human characteristics associated with the city brand. Several studies have adopted city personality measurement scale to assess their own country personality. However, in Thailand, few studies focus on the brand personality in its city context. The objective of the article was to discover what particular traits of the city personality in Thailand are. The data were collected through a group interview of the 31 Thai informants who were asked to provide information indicating the particular traits of city personality in Thai context. The findings show that city’s personalities were shared by 281 traits, 61 of which were identical to other countries and 220 different, respectively. Those traits indicate both positive and negative aspects.
