| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the information of the Isan
mural painting. Documents Analysis was the method for gathering information from literature
review such as handbook thesis and research papers related to murals painting in the Northeast
region in Thailand. The characteristics of Isan mural painting was further divided into three main
areas of the features of information: content, context, and structure area including 13 elements. The
details are as follow: 1) Content area which include image title and topic 2) Context area including
time period, name of the owner temple and address of owner temple, history of mural painting,
mural painters, schools of painting, producer and 3) Structure area including sequence of mural,
position of mural, painting style, color principles, type of color, special effects. |
