Abstract Seven new benzoyltyramines, atalantums A–G (1-7), together with four known compounds were isolated and purified from the peels of Atalantia monophylla. Their structures were established on the basic of NMR spectroscopic data. Atalantum E (5) demonstrated the strongest cytotoxicity against KKU-M156 cells, with an IC50 value of 1.97 ± 0.73 µM, an approximately 4.7-fold higher activity than that of the ellipticine standard. In addition, atalantum A (1) was active against KKUM214 cells, with an IC50 value of 3.06 ± 0.51 µM. For KKU-M213 cell line, compounds 2, 4, and 11 exhibited stronger cytotoxicity than the ellipticine standard, with IC50 values of 2.36 ± 0.20, 5.63 ± 0.22, and 2.71 ± 0.23 µM, respectively. Atalantum A, F, and G displayed cytotoxicity against KKUM214 cells, with IC50 values of 3.06 ± 0.51, 8.44 ± 0.47, and 7.37 ± 1.29 µM, respectively.
