     Abstract Background: The northeast thailand the prevalence of kidney disease in type 2 diabetic patients and death from diabetes is higher than in other regions. Aimed: 1) To study the morbidity of kidney disease in stages of type2 diabetic patients the northeast. 2) To study associated factors between health literacy(HL) and good lab in type2 diabetic patients the northeast. Setting and design: This study used a cross-sectional analytical research. Methods and Material: A total of 1,325 type2 diabetic patients, aged 18 and over, were selected by the multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling and collecting data using questionnaires. Statistical analysis: Descriptive statistics included the distribution of frequencies, percentages, mean and standard deviations. Data were analyzed using statistical generalized linear mixed model (GLMM). Results: It was found that most of the 1,325 samples had a mild of eGFR in the second phase, 38.34%, there were 85.36 percent for the poor lab and included cognitive skills, self-management skills, decision skills and data without using herbs, normal creatinine. Have associated with good lab with statistical significance at the level of 0.05. Conclusion: Type 2 diabetic patients irregular glomerular filtration rate found can be found up to almost two-thirds and results for poor lab of 2.5 out of 3, with health literacy at a low level.
