     Abstract Mental model and motivation were important for learner to success in pro-gramming. The purpose of this research was (1) To design and development of constructivism online learning environment to enhance learners’ mental model and motivation in programming (2) To study leaners’ mental model (3) To study learners’ motivation. The target group comprised of 15 students at phonngampittayanukool school. Developmental research (Type I) was employed in this study. Data collection performed in the second semester in programming in academic year 2019. The results revealed that: The gamifi-cation for constructivism online learning environment consist of the follow-ing component; (1) Problem base (2) Resource (3) Related case (4) Collabora-tion tools (5) Scaffolding (6) Coaching (7) Social support (8) Leaderboard (9) Rules. The learner’s mental model from gamification for online learning en-vironment consists with 2 characteristics as follow: (1) Represent story or event by explaining in model (2) Change rule and procedure to solve prob-lem. The learners’ motivation from gamification for online learning envi-ronment was very motivate (mean = 3.75, S.D. = 0.53).
