     Abstract Internal supervision conducted by teachers and school administrators become the key to measuring the quality of teaching and learning process in the school. However, conducting internal supervision in the school has alway faced many obstacles. The purpose of this research was to explore need assessment of Internal Supervision in Secondary Schools under the Office of Basic Education Commission. This was a descriptive research to explore the existing and desirable states of internal supervision in secondary schools. The samples group used in this research was secondary school supervisors under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. 5-rating scale questionnaire was administered into the sample. The results of this research found that the highest index of demand was the development of media, innovation and digital technology (PNImodified = 0.373), followed by the development of learning processes (PNImodified = 0.267), educational supervision (PNImodified = 0.262), and measure results, assess results and compare grades (PNImodified = 0.257), the lowest required index of needs was educational institution curriculum development (PNImodified = 0.246). The implication of this research proposed that school principal, supervisors, and teachers must pay attention toward the importance of media, innovation and digital technology to be used in monitoring teaching.
