Abstract |
This research aimed to study the components of educational management to promote careers in the community centers for non-formal and informal education. Descriptive research was conducted in 3 steps, including 1) studying several related documents and research, 2) conducting in-depth interviews with 5 academic experts, and 3) confirming components by 5 academic experts. The findings of this research were as follows: Firstly, the components of educational management to promote careers in the community center for non-formal and informal education consisted of 5 components, which were 1) changing management consisted of (a) creating a vision of change, (b) creating a leader for change, (c) learning something new, and (d) motivating and engaging, 2) curriculum development and learning activities comprise (a) needs education, (b) curriculum development, (c) organizing learning activities for the profession, and (d) assessing the curriculum and learners, 3) development of curriculum and learning activities for career promotion of being a person of lifelong learning consisted of (a) gaining knowledge for themselves in the profession, (b) applying the knowledge gained to apply in the profession, and (c) problem solving thinking and understanding career development, 4) digital literacy for careers included (a) understanding the importance of digital in career, (b) using digital technology in career development, and (c) evaluation of digital use in career, and 5) promoting educational network partners involved (a) perceiving a mutual development perspective, (b) establishing common goals, and (c) building exchange Interaction. Secondly, the policy components consisted of vision, mission, goals, strategies, and indicators. The implication of this research is that educational management to promote careers in the community centers for non-formal and informal education is necessary to contribute to the development of society as this research cover several component that potentially can influence the effectiveness of lifelong learning |
