     Abstract The melodies in Esan folk music called “Lai” Such as “Lai Mang Poo Torm Dork”, “Lai Lom Putt Proaw” or “Lai Toey Khong”. The tradition Lai in Esan have only five notes because of many factors. For examples the musical instruments don’t have enough notes in the scales or about the emotion of the composers and the players. Most of Esan music have fun and the music came out like a Disjunct motion and have a less Chromatics notes. Atonality means a sound management system that does not give an important to any particular sound which opposite of the Tonality. Atonality use all twelve notes of the chromatic equally. Rather than giving priority to some notes of grouping notes.
