Abstract Waste management is indispensable in problems that affect environmental and economic aspects in Indonesia. Bintang Sejahtera Waste Bank is a pilot program in Lombok This study uses a qualitative method to see how the waste management process is carried out by the Bintang Sejahtera Waste Bank. The results found that the management of the Waste Bank by Bintang Sejahtera is regular, there are 2 (two) methods of waste management processes, namely the milling and pressing process, which results will be marketed back to companies that recycle waste into something that can be used daily. The empowerment of the surrounding community is also carried out in terms of jobs that can help their economy. Another finding is that only 1% of the total waste produced by the community per day can be processed through the waste bank in Lombok, and the community's participation and knowledge of waste management are not yet optimal.
