     Abstract This article focuses on the International migration patterns and the transition of new Isan society. A qualitative research methodology was employed as research. Collecting data on February-July 2563 by interviews with 30 return migrants, 25 return migrant households, 8 officers of related of migration, and 21 community leaders. Data were analyzed using content analysis. The research results were as follows: Isan society developed the infrastructure and social structure by transforming from subsistence agriculture to commercial agriculture which values capitalism. Thus, a means of livelihood to raise the socio-economic status of the households through migration to work abroad. The pattern of migration for work abroad 4 characteristics including (1) The era of pioneering to work abroad. (2) The era of migration to Asia according to popularity. (3) The era of migration with the Department of Employment. And (4) The era of popularity to travel.
