Abstract This paper purpose to clarify the lesson plan learning activities about designing Satellite and Spacecraft to achieve space exploration missions through Kerbal Space Program. The activities provide the application of Physics and Applied Physics: Satellite and Spacecraft based on STEM education developed through Professional Learning Community (PLC). The STEM education learning activities were developed by Sutaphan and Yueyong (2019) “The context-based STEM education learning approach”. This activity started with an interest in the space technology industry. There is continuous research and development of advances in space exploration and astronomy. This issue engages students to design and develop the projects and find the solutions through Kerbal Space Program. The context-based STEM education learning approach can be used to simplify the developing ideas related to design methods for space exploration missions. Teachers may motivate the students to apply their knowledge from physics (e.g., application of gravitational field or Kepler's laws of planetary motion) to design the prototypes or products through engineering design process. This paper may have implications for designing the STEM education learning activities
