     Abstract Details In this work, the specific composition of automotive paints will be studied for use in forensic science the FTIR technique and SEM-EDS. It will be analyzed to create a database for comparison with car paint at the scene. The car brands to be tested were Toyota, Honda and Isuzu. The colors used for analysis were white, black and gray. From the results of 10 samples using the SEM-EDS tool, the results are white, black, gray and white Honda cars, and white and black Isuzu brands. Contains elements C, O, Al and Au, except for the gray Isuzu car, which contains elements C O Al Si Ti and Au, while the white Toyota car example contains elements C O Al Si Ti and Au, black contains elements CO. and Au gray contains elements C O Al Si Tc and Au.
