| บทคัดย่อ |
This article purposes the economic risk management of Northeastern Thai sugarcane farmers' households, using a quantitative research methodology. The unit of analysis is the household level, with a sample group of 384 sugarcane farming households. A systematic random sampling technique was used to collect data through an interview schedule from June to November 2021. The study area selected from five provinces, including Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Udon thani and Nong Bua Lamphu, with the highest number of sugarcane farming households and sugar mills in the Northeastern region, Thailand. The data was presented using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the majority of sugarcane farming households had a relatively high level of economic risk management, at 37.0%. However, it is worth noting that 46.9% of the households had a relatively low to moderate level of economic risk management. In terms of the process of economic risk management, the majority of sugarcane farming households had the highest level of risk identification, the lowest risk monitoring was at 57.8% |
