| Abstract |
A tree language is a set of terms. A binary operation, named an r-inductive product
of tree languages is defined by precisely using an inductive composition of tree languages,
which is a generalization of inductive composition of terms. The ordered pair of the
set of all subsets of all n-ary terms of type τ excluding all proper subterms of the fixed
term r and the described binary operation is a semigroup, which is called a semigroup of
an inductive composition of tree languages. In this paper, we particularly study special
subsemigroups of such a semigroup including constant, left-zero, right-zero, and inverse
subsemigroups, as well as rectangular bands, and subgroups. |
