Abstract |
This retrospective cohort study aimed to describe the survival rate of Colorectal cancer patients in Thailand. The study uses secondary data from the Ministry of Public Health between 2013 and 2020, a total of 57,321 cases. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, including observed survival rate estimate, Kaplan-Meier Survival estimate with 95% CI, and Cox regression analysis. The subjects were males at 51.28%, females survival rate was 9% higher than males (HR = 0.91, 95% CI: 0.86 -0.94). Patients who were aged 61-70 years old were more likely to die than patients aged 60 years, statistically significant at 1.25 times (HR= 1.25, 95% CI:1.17 – 1.34), and patients > 70 years old were more likely to die than patients aged 60 years, statistically significant at 1.58 times (HR= 1.58, 95% CI: 1.49-1.68). The formulation of screening policies for colorectal cancer in targeted populations, particularly the elderly. It supports colorectal cancer prevention, reduce the risk to achieve a greater health impact. |
