Abstract |
The research aimed to study students' satisfaction toward the simulation learning environment to enhance scientific explanation in the topic of gas for grade eleventh students, who were 26 students in chemistry class. The researcher employed a satisfaction survey that measured satisfaction across three dimensions: contents, technology for simulation learning environments, and applying knowledge. The survey results were analyzed by using basic statistical consist of encompassing mean scores and standard deviations. The findings revealed a substantial overall satisfaction level among students (𝑥̅ = 4.46, S.D. = 0.89). This survey across the three dimensions further disclosed the following: 1) Satisfaction with contents were very satisfied (𝑥̅ = 4.47, S.D. = 0.87), 2) Satisfaction with technology simulation learning environments were also very satisfied (𝑥̅ = 4.49, S.D. = 0.91), and 3) Satisfaction with applying knowledges were very satisfied (𝑥̅ = 4.43, S.D. = 0.89). This study contributes to understanding students' satisfaction within the context of simulation learning environments and their perceived enhancement of scientific explanation on the topic of gas in chemistry. |
