Due to the current adoption of Industry 4.0 concepts as a tool to drive economic and industrial changes in Thailand, which leads to sustainability impacts, this research aims to investigate the impacts of Industry 4.0 factories on sustainability. These impacts encompass economic, environmental, and social aspects. The researcher collected and filtered a total of 16 impact indicators from relevant literatures and then conducted interviews with six industry experts from factories that have implemented Industry 4.0 technologies. Using Likert scales for assessment, the researcher filtered for significant impacts on the sustainability of Industry 4.0 in Thailand. The results include eight significant impacts, including: 1. Decrease Cost, 2. Profitability, 3. Service Management, 4. Efficient Production, 5. Decrease Waste, 6. Unemployment, 7. Improvement in Man-Machine Interaction, 8. Training Employers. |
