| บทคัดย่อ |
This study examines whether religious schools reduce academic dishonesty among students in Hulu Sungai Utara, Indonesia, compared to secular schools. Using lab-in-the-field experiments, 120 students from both school types were tested under varying monitoring conditions during a math task. Results showed no significant difference in cheating behaviors between religious and secular school students after controlling students' math ability and gender. This suggests that the current implementation of religious education does not effectively mitigate academic dishonesty, highlighting the need for improved strategies in both school types to foster integrity and reduce cheating. Further research is recommended to explore underlying factors and develop more effective interventions. |
