| Abstract |
การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจต่อพฤติกรรมความร่วมมือในการรักษาและระดับความดันตาของผู้ป่วยโรคต้อหิน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยโรคต้อหินที่มารับบริการ ณ ห้องตรวจจักษุ โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่ง เลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงจำนวน 32 คน สุ่มเข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมได้กลุ่มละ 16 คน โดยกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติขณะที่กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ ระยะเวลาศึกษาตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2556 ถึง 28 ธันวาคม 2556 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบสัมภาษณ์พฤติกรรมความร่วมมือในการรักษาของผู้ป่วยต้อหิน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา Chi-square test Paired t-test Independent t-test Wilcoxon signed-ranks test และ Mann Whitney-U test ผลการวิจัยพบว่าโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจมีผลทำให้ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมความร่วมมือในการรักษาเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติและระดับความดันลูกตาลดลง ข้อเสนอแนะที่ได้จากการวิจัยนี้คือควรมีการนำโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจไปประยุกต์ใช้กับผู้ป่วยโรคต้อหินและผู้ป่วยอื่นๆที่มีบริบทคล้ายกัน(This Quasi-experimental study aimed to examine the effect of empowerment program on adherence behaviors and intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients. Purposive sampling was used to recruited patients with glaucoma receiving care at eye clinic of Out Patient Department, an university hospital from 1 August to 28 December 2013. These participants then were randomly assigned to control group or intervention group, 16 participants for each group. Participants in the control group received usual care whereas those in the intervention group received empowerment program in addition to usual care. The adherence behaviors of glaucoma patient interviews was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi square, t-test, Wilcoxon signed-ranks test, and Mann Whitney-U test. The results revealed that this empowerment program contributed to increase in adherence behaviors scores significantly and decrease intraocular pressure levels in glaucoma patients. The program should be applied to empower patients with Glaucoma and other patients within similar context)
