| บทคัดย่อ |
This research presents the concept and an initial prototype of digital applications that are developed on mobile and web applications for facilitating a crime scene investigation (CSI) center's police officers who need to investigate and recover evidence from a crime scene when requested for examination by an inquiry official at the police station. The traditional process is still lacking in systematic management. The work status cannot be tracked in real time and it is necessary to call another officer if the information is required in advance. In the storage section, data are stored using a paper-based system that makes it difficult to trace cases later. The researcher uses information and communication technologies in designing and developing digital applications to be deployed. This system will be able to record information through e-Forms. It supports the taking of photographs, drawing crime scene diagrams, the recording of voice and video files, and coordinates of, and directions to the crime scene. It can be used anytime and anywhere. The system will store the status of each task and send timely alerts with Google Cloud Messaging techniques to let other officers know about updates or notifications, immediately. We have created a CSI Application Programming Interface (API) to call functions and transfer data between mobile app and web services. In addition, the system can automatically generate report documents that help by reducing work time. The result of the usability testing assessment is at a good level; it is user-friendly and may be used as a prototype. |
