     Abstract The aim of this work was to study the effect of magnesium contents in dolomite-like on physical and chemical properties and their efficiencies on biofuel production though pyrolytic catalysis under atmospheric pressure. The magnesium contents were 10, 20 and 30% compared with calcium content in dolomite-like. The physical and chemical properties were examined by many parameters such as crystallinity, compositions, thermal gravimetric analysis, morphology and specific surface area. The reaction toke place in packed bed reactor at weight hour space velocity (WHSV) about 0.5 h-1 at reaction temperature 450, 500 and 550C. The results found that the amount of magnesium contents and reaction temperature were significant effect on liquid pyrolytic oil yield and proportional of gasoline, kerosene and diesel.
