| บทคัดย่อ |
Emergency illness including diseases and importantly road traffic accidents has been the main cause of death in almost every country throughout the world. Most of the emergency patients were outside hospitals and in need of urgent medical cares. To meet their demands, emergency medical services, as pre-hospital care, has been essential to help them on the way to hospitals. However, there are many factors affecting the performance of emergency medical services. The study aimed at investigating the factors influencing the performance of emergency medical service by local administrative organizations. The samples for this quantitative research were people who have undertaken emergency medical services while the sample group were 636 people chosen by using a purposive sample. To collect data, questionnaires were deployed and the IOC index was rated more than 0.6. Descriptive statistics were taken to analyze variables and the statistical analysis was multiple regression at the statistical significance level of 0.01. The study showed that the factors featuring community, service preparation, service operation, budget, materials and staff can predict the achievement of Emergency Medical Service by Local Administrative Organizations at 60.8 percent (R Square = 0.608). The relationship between factors towards emergency medical services and the performance achievement was positive at moderate level. The results can be used to improve the emergency medical services in other regions. |
