Abstract |
Information shortening is a methodology to construct the rate-compatible codes. Recently, LDPC codes have been shown that uniform shortening distribution is a criterion to achieve excellent performance. The difficulty is that the information nodes must be appropriately selected. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a design of parity-check matrix of LDPC codes in which the uniform shortening distribution is satisfied. With this technique, exceptionally high-performance rate-compatible LDPC codes are achieved.
