Abstract The objective of this study wasto estimate genetic parametersand genetic trends ofsow longevity traits usingthe phenotypes and genotypes obtained with the IlluminaPorcineSNP60 BeadChip from boars and sows. Sow longevity traits included length of productive life (LPL), culling parity (CP)and culling ages (CA).Estimated breeding values (EBV) and genomic estimated breeding values (GEBV) were evaluated using Animal Model and Single-Step Prediction including general pedigree and genomic relationships. Variance components were estimated by AIREML. The heritability estimates obtained with genomic information of LPL, CPand CAranged from0.026-0.035, 0.030-0.036and 0.025-0.032 respectively. Spearman rank correlations between EBV and GEBV ofLPL, CPand CAranged from0.50-0.99, 0.78-0.99 and 0.82-0.99 respectively. The genetic trends of EBV wereslightly different from GEBV of LPL,CPand CAboth Landrace and Large White sows. The estimated by GEBV gave decreasing in downward bias in both Landrace and Large White.Genomic selection has the potential to improve genetic progress of sow longevity traits.
