Abstract The results of this study will be used to develop future teaching strategies for Engineering Design Thinking course. The participants were 40 high school students. Instrument of this study was a questionnaire assessing satisfaction with, problem encountered, and barrier found in the Engineering Design Thinking Course. Content validity was approved by 2 out of 3 experts. The results showed that satisfaction with the Engineering Design Thinking course was at high level (x ̅ = 4.31, SD = 0.23). Moreover, satisfaction for all 3 dimensions (course management, group process, and learning resources) were also at high level (x ̅ = 4.41, SD = 0.27; x ̅ = 4.45, SD = 0.31; x ̅ = 3.57, SD = 0.57 respectively). The problems in students’ learning were mainly with the learning time limitation, inadequate learning resources, and difficulties in using program for design product. The findings can be used for future improvements in the Engineering Design Thinking Course.
