Abstract |
This study aimed to development of universal design for learning environment with game base learning to enhance problem solving process of mathematics for gread 3 students. The purpose of this research was (1) development of universal design for learning environment with game base learning to enhance problem solving process of mathematics (2) To problem solving thinking (3) To study students learning achievement (4) their opinion toward this learning environment. Research methodology was one-short case study. The target group was fifteen gread 3 students of Bankoksungwittayanukool school, Khon kaen. Qualitative data was analyzed through method of protocol analysis and analytic description. The results revealed that: universal design for learning environment with game base learning consist of the following component; 1) Problem 2) Resource 3) Scaffolding 4) Collaboration tools 5) Coaching. The study of problem solving thinking of students studying with universal design for learning environment according to Polya's (1957) conceptual framework, there are 4 steps: (1) Understanding the problem (2) Devising a plan (3) Carrying out the plan (4) Looking back. The achievement of learners from the learning with universal design for learning environment who obtained from taking the achievement test, it was found that the mean score was 80.44 and the standard deviation was 0.96, which was higher than the required 70% of students who passed the criteria 70% of the full score. The learners’ opinions assessment on learning with universal design for learning environment it was found that the students had consistent opinions in both content Media features and design aspects according to the concept of universal design. |
