     Abstract The study of development aimed to study the learning achievements as well as attitude test outcomes of the students by utilizing the reinforcement curriculum of rhythmic ability in music based on a competency-based approach according to the research and development (R&D) method, based on the study of 1. the learning achievements from using the reinforcement curriculum of rhythmic ability in music based on a competency-based approach which passed the criteria at a minimum of 75 percent, and 2. the student's attitude test outcomes pre and post-learning; on the target group of 23 marching band students, junior secondary Saint Joseph Siphetchabun School. The result was found: (1) the learning achievements from using the curriculum of the students equaled 92.68 which surpassed the criteria of over 75 percent determined by the researcher with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level, and (2) the attitude tests of the students towards learning activity found that the mean of attitude test scores pre-learning equaled 80.69; the mean post-learning equaled 94.00 with statistical significance at the .05 level. This can be epitomized that the learning achievements and attitude test outcomes of the students substantially improved after the learning activity.
