Abstract |
Abstract: The purpose of this research was to synthesize the theoretical framework of flipped classroom learning environment to enhance analytical thinking on entitled “structure and growth of flowering plants” for the grade 11 students. The target group for this study consisted of 37 grade 11 students from Khon Kaen University Demonstration School Secondary Education Department (Mor Din Daeng), in the second semester of the academic year 2022. The research consisted of three experts reviewing documents and designing frameworks for designing a flipped classroom learning environment to enhance analytical thinking. The research methodology involved both document analysis and survey research, comprising four stages: 1) Study and analysis of principles and theories, 2) Literature review, 3) Examination of relevant context, and 4) Synthesizing the design framework for the flipped classroom learning environment to enhance analytical thinking. Data were analyzed by using basic statistics and interpretation.
The result revealed that the flipped classroom learning environment to enhance analytical thinking consists of 1) Four fundamental theoretical foundations: (1) Foundations of learning psychology, (2) Foundations of pedagogy, (3) Foundations of knowledge and skills, and (4) Foundations of technology, and 2) The flipped classroom learning environment to enhance analytical thinking comprises 2 processes for learning as follows: (1) Outside the classroom and (2) Inside the classroom.
