     Abstract This study aims to develop frameworks of the Gamification Learning Environment Based on Inquiry Learning to Enhance Science Learning Motivation of Acid-base for Grade 11. This research used the design process (phase 1) of Developmental Research Type 1 (Richey and Klein, 2007) that focuses on design and development. The procedure consists of three steps: 1) document analysis and study learning context. 2) examining and analyzing the principles and theories, and 3) synthesizing and creating the theoretical framework and the designing framework. The results revealed that the theoretical framework comprises six foundations: Contextual Base, Psychological Base, Pedagogical Base, Technological Base, Gamification Base, and Science Learning Motivation Base. The designing framework was composed of four stages: 1) stimulating cognitive structures and promoting Science learning motivation, 2) supporting cognitive balance and promoting Science learning motivation, 3) expanding the intellectual structure and promoting Science learning motivation, and 4) helping to balance the intellectual and promoting Science learning motivation. Moreover, it comprises six components: Problem Situation, Learning Resource, Tools, Collaboration, Scaffolding, and Coaching. The designing framework evaluates the efficiency of experts in 3 aspects: content, design, and media.
