| บทคัดย่อ |
Induction heating has been used in various metal manufacturing processes due to its high energy efficiency. Heat is generated in a workpiece due to I2R losses where I is the eddy current and R is the resistance of the workpiece material. Direct measurement of eddy current in the workpiece during induction heating is impossible, precluding the understanding of heating phenomenon. This work presents a calorimetry method to measure the heat generated in various non-magnetic metals in a simple helical wound coil. Results of thermal measurement were used to determine the efficiency of heating comparing with theoretical models. |
