| บทคัดย่อ |
The objectives of this study were to identify the way M.4 students comprehending EFL texts, to contribute the validation of the comprehension tasks in the Reading Transmission (RT), and to investigate students’ attitudes through telling about topic and poster presentation. Twenty-nine students volunteerly participated in this study were divided into two groups: an experimental group (n = 15) and a control group (n = 14). The participants studied a set of reading cards comprising three units. Pre and Post tests for reading comprehension were demonstrated for quantitative data. Qualitative data were also collected using video records during the implementation, and interviews were done to investigate students’ attitudes. The results showed that Reading Transmission (RT) improved the students’ reading comprehension. The test scores indicated a significant difference in reading comprehension and vocabulary. The video data revealed the positive change of students’ interaction from passive learners to more active learners. The interview data also showed the positive attitude of students toward RT as well. Implications can be made that Reading Transmission encourages the experience of using English and develops students’ reading comprehension. |
