Abstract |
The objective of this research was to study factors of digital leadership among executives working for Thai primary schools under the Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample group included executive members and teachers under the Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office. Exploratory factor analysis was used to determine the sample size and in order to evaluate maximum likelihood (ML). The study involved 29 parameters and 580 participants.
The preliminary investigation of data prior to factor analysis showed the following: the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) Measure of Sampling Adequacy = 0.975, higher than 0.5. The factors were thus shown to be sufficiently related. The statistical value of Bartlett’s Test for Sphericity found a Chi-square (χ2) of 35352.776, which showed that the correlations were significant at the 0.05 level and that the correlation matrix of the variables involved was sufficiently correlated. Dividing the factors with Principal Component Analysis (PC) and rotating the core of the factors resulted in 10 factors with a range of Eigen-values from 1.027-33.649 and a cumulative variance of 65.929%. The factors in descending order according to their scores were: 1) the establishment of a technological network, 2) the creation of an environment and innovations that foster technological learning, 3) ethics in technological use, 4) the ability to use digital devices, 5) brand creation, 6) inclusivity in planning, 7) career development, 8) exploration and selection of precise and up-to-date information, 9) compliance to digital information law and safety regulations, and 10) evaluation. |
