| Abstract |
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมสารสนเทศของตำรวจ สังกัดตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดขอนแก่น ในด้านความต้องการ การแสวงหา การใช้สารสนเทศ และปัญหาจากการแสวงหาและการใช้สารสนเทศที่สอดคล้องกับการปฏิบัติงานฝ่ายต่างๆ ในตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดขอนแก่น ประชากรในการวิจัยเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจผู้ปฏิบัติงานฝ่ายอำนวยการ ตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดขอนแก่น ทั้งหมด 7 ฝ่ายงาน จำนวน 162 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่าความต้องการสารสนเทศพื้นฐานในการปฏิบัติงานราชการและงานตำรวจ ของตำรวจ สังกัดตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดขอนแก่น ผลรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ในส่วนความต้องการสารสนเทศเฉพาะในการปฏิบัติงานตำรวจ ผลรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ในด้านแหล่งสารสนเทศที่ใช้เพื่อแสวงหาสารสนเทศมากที่สุด คือ แหล่งสารสนเทศสื่อมวลชน ในการประเมินสารสนเทศที่แสวงหามาได้นั้น พบว่าตำรวจจะประเมินสารสนเทศด้วยตนเองและโดยผู้บังคับบัญชา โดยให้ความสำคัญกับความทันสมัยของสารสนเทศ สารสนเทศที่ได้ตรงกับความต้องการ และเนื้อหาของสารสนเทศมีความถูกต้อง สารสนเทศที่ได้มานั้น จะนำมาใช้เพื่อประกอบการปฏิบัติงานตามตำแหน่งหน้าที่ ปัญหาหลักที่พบจากการแสวงหาและการใช้สารสนเทศ คือ เครื่องมือสืบค้นสารสนเทศไม่เพียงพอเหมาะสมกับการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ
The objective of this research was to study information behaviors of the polices under Khon Kaen Provincial Police in area of information need, information seeking, information use and problems related to information seeking and information used according to the operations of each department of Khon Kaen Provincial Police. The study population included 162 polices in General Staff Sub-Division of 7 departments. The research finding revealed that the need for basic information for work operation of the policemen of Khon Kaen Provincial Police was reported at the high level. The needs for carrying put police functions were found at the maximum level. The policemen of each division needed information relevant to their division responsibilities. As for the information sources, the Policemen used mass media at the highest level. It was found that the information evaluation was done by the polices themselves and the commanders, focusing on updated information and matching with requirements and correct information. The main problem founded in information seeking and used of polices under Khon Kaen Provincial Police were lack of information seeking tools, and information quantity was lower than requirements. |
