     Abstract Latent Dirichlet allocation is a famous and commonly used topic models which use to find hidden topic and apply in many text analysis research. To improve the performance of LDA , There are two Dirichlet prior parameters α and β which has an effect on the performance of the system must be set to appropriate value. Ant colony optimization has an ability to solving the computational problem has been adding for parameters tuning, Thus, we propose to implement a method approach to find the optimal parameters α and β for LDA by using Ant colony optimization. Dataset from UCI (KOS,NIPS,ENRON) which are the standard for estimating topic model are used to evaluated. Our experimental results show that LDA which has tuning parameters by ACO has better performance when to evaluate by perplexity score.
